About Me

Name's Jessi...but you can call me Geo. I'm a stubborn and independent 24-year-old and have no idea what to do with my life, but that's okay. Cat lover. Music lover. Fluent in sarcasm. I love to read because it's how I escape reality. I could recommend books til I'm blue in the face.

This week's TGIF question: Book blogger influences!! Has there been a particular book blogger who's influenced what you read? Share with us a review/book blog that convinced you to pick up a certain book.
Honestly, I can't think of one specifically. I'm not really picky about the books I add to my TBR list (as long as the cover looks good), so if it looks/sounds interesting, I add it on Goodreads.

This week's Follow Friday question: Character battle!! If you could have any two characters from books fight it out, who would you pick and who would win?
Well, I recently read the Hex Hall series and loved it, so I'm going to have to pick Sophie. And, since the character who inspired the most hatred from me was Sookie Stackhouse, I guess I'll pick her to get her ass kicked by the awesome Sophie. ;)

I just recently tried to read the latest Hex Hall novel in the series but sadly wasn't able to finish. Nice choice on the winner. Both have supernatural powers up the wazoo, but Sookie does seem like the likely outcome. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by,
@ Livin' Life Through Books
Sookie was one of my choices too! But I agree - Sophie is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteStop by and see my TGIF / Follow Friday!
Yay! Sophie! She would definitely win with her awesome powers and hilariousness!
ReplyDeleteLol that's so funny!
ReplyDeleteLet's wait and see Sookie get kicks in the ass! XD
New follower btw!
Marshiee @ Books With Marshmallows
LOL - not a fan of Sookie huh? I don't know Sophie - haven't read Hex Hall yet!
ReplyDeleteTrish - My FF
Hopping through. I definitely think Sophie could take on Sookie. Love her!
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I'm not particularly a fan of Sookie either - she spends too much time waiting to be rescued!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Hex Hall, but it sounds like Sophie could totally win against Sookie!
Tara @ Hey, Tara
I haven't read wither series but I hope to, to witness the awesomeness =D
ReplyDeleteHere's my FF
Sana @ artsy musings of a bibliophile
Haha, Sophie would definitely kick some butt! I love her.

Haven't read Hex Hall yet, so I don't know Sophie. :( I'm not a big fan of Sookie either. It sounds like it's going to be a good fight, though!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Pam | jelly loves books
Nice! Still need to read the last two Sophie books. But gotta read some ARCs first! I think she could take Sookie as well, as long as she didn't "think" about her next move!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Friday Hops
Have a GREAT weekend!

Just hopping by.

I'm currently reading Demonglass. Sophie is hilarious. I would love to see her fight Sookie (even though I like Sookie lol). Great answer. I didn't do F&F this week, but I'm still trying to visit others.

I haven't read the Hex Hall novels yet, but apparently they are very good, so I'll hopefully get to them asap. :)
ReplyDeletePatricia // My FF
I am definitely going to check out the Hex Hall series. I've never read them but I'm an almost fan of the HBO series. I expect the books will rule and I will be a true fan.
ReplyDeleteHoping through
Here's my FF . Happy Reading!
I'm a cover drooler as well. If it doesn't pass the cover test, I won't even consider it. Other than that, I take the reviews with a grain of salt.
ReplyDeleteI've only watched some episodes about Snookie, but I'm not really a fan of her. And although I haven't read the Hex Hall books (but I am planning to) I hope Sophie kicks her butt ^^
