About Me

Name's Jessi...but you can call me Geo. I'm a stubborn and independent 24-year-old and have no idea what to do with my life, but that's okay. Cat lover. Music lover. Fluent in sarcasm. I love to read because it's how I escape reality. I could recommend books til I'm blue in the face.

Rating System

EPIC - This book is so full of awesome that a 5 star rating just isn't good enough!

I loved it - Definitely a favorite. I would read it again for sure!

I really liked it - Great read but doesn't quite make it on my favorite shelf.

I liked it - Good read, but not really memorable.

It was OK - Didn't care for it much, but still had some redeeming qualities.

Not for me - I could barely get through it. These are the books that usually spawn a long, sarcastic rant session from me.

.:Weekly Recap:.

Top Ten Tuesday (18): Best Dystopian books

Reviews:

This week's TGIF question: Social networking!! Do you use Twitter or Facebook to promote your blog? How has it benefited your blogging experience? If not, how do you promote your blog? Share your Twitter handle and/or Facebook link. (:

Yes I do, both of them. Facebook honestly hasn't done much of anything for me, but I enjoy getting on Twitter because I can really keep in touch with what's happening in the book blogging community.

This week's Follow Friday question: What is the best book you've read in the past month? What's the worst?

Best:
Either Partials or Don't You Wish. LOVED them!

Worst:
Grave Mercy or Tempest Rising. Grave Mercy doesn't really count though because I couldn't actually finish it. >.>

  1. New Follower! ^_^ I'm pretty lucky this month, I suppose. Even books for review weren't deserving of the 'worst' list.

Although, on the other hand, sometimes we need a bad book. It's not enjoyable, but it keeps us on our toes.

  2. Hopping through. Seems like everyone is raving about Grave Mercy. Nice to see a different opinion. I haven't read it yet.
